Translated to American English, Pusong Mamon means soft-hearted. In pinoy slang, it could also refer to effeminate guys. For the annual exhibit of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan, our theme centered on Philippine idioms where we pulled out our assigned topics out of a hat and I got the this one.

 

We were tasked to create an vignette illustration based on our own literal interpretation of the idiom and I thought creating a character who lives by baking heart-shaped bread and giving it away to strangers who needs some love.
