Project brief: Tackle the problem of noise and air pollution in newborns and babies.
Team: Claudio Battivelli, Siri Sofie Andreassen
Umbo is baby transport system composed of the module, the snaps and the chasis.
It is adaptable to different age groups and situations.
The modules absorb unwanted sound due to the central padding.
The inner fabric on each module absorbs pollution and circulates purified air inside the stroller.
Noise cancelling module cancels unwanted noise, much like ANC headphones.
Design of module is open source, so companies can create their own modules to fit Umbo.
Design of Snap is also open source.
