Conditional Design Workshop

Using the Conditional Design Workbook* as a reference, I invited my cohort to participate in prompts I created.

// PROMPT
Each player is assigned by a shape:
circle, square, triangle.
Round 1: The players connect their first shape
to the base.
Round 2: The players connect their second shape
to the base OR one of the shapes from Round 1.
> RULE: You cannot connect directly to the same
color or the same shape.
Round 3 - END: The players connect their
remaining shapes to the base or shapes
in the previous rounds.
> RULE: You cannot connect directly to the same
color or the same shape.
The prompt is finished when the players
run out of shapes.

* Conditional Design is a design method that focuses on processes rather than products: things that adapt to their environment, emphasize change, and show difference.
The Conditional Design Workbook invites readers to actively participate in playfully designed sets of rules and conditions that stimulate collaboration between participants and lead to unpredictable outcomes.
