Frame by frame animation completed in Adobe Animate for Class 1 of Mograph Mentor the Lincolnwood LIbrary. The Summer Reading Program was themed with "Reading Takes You Everywhere," so with that in mind, I wanted to find a way to show viewers visually what could be contained within a book and the adventures it can lead you on. 

The process as it mostly always does, started with sketching. A large part of this phase was exploration, story development, writing, and storyboarding to nail down the ideas and scenes.

Then, I jumped into the animatic using Animatic Pro on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil and started drawing away. 

From the Animatic, I jumped over to Rough Animator (because it allows layers), and did some more animation tests. 

Once the rough pass felt good on timing, it was time to dive into Adobe Animate! 

Which brings us to the final!
