Casa Cor Cafe Menu

Casa Cor is the biggest architecture and interior design event in Brazil.

In the '06 edition we designed the menu for Casa Cor's Cafe. The interior designers’ concept was “Brazilian Vernacular Communication”. We hand painted a vernacular typeface and wrote the menu as signpainting over coffee beans bag fabric, with all the spelling mistakes and funny little text details in order to “fuck up” the fancy, fancy food they were serving at the place.

We didn't knew then that these were the same people who happened to cater to the
brazilian president.

Fortunately, they loved it and backed it up, and soon enough pretty much every menu was stolen from the cafe by those fancy fancy people eating at the fancy place with the fucked up menu.
