I had the opportunity to work with a newly developed non profit organization, the Nordic Center, in Duluth, Minnesota. It is a stem off of the Sons of Norway, promoting the past, present and future of the five Scandinavian countries. Their goal is to involve the Duluth community, a city rich with the Nordic culture, in fun and educational events and workshops. They want to tie the bond between American and Scandinavian culture.
