DIMM is a face-to-face digital technologies education program for students Years 3 to 8 in New Zealand. Partnering with Karrikins Group and the New Zealand Ministry of Education, DIMM's identity was born through exploration of strong bold colours, technology related symbolism and Māori customs & culture. The customised logo explores and visualises the triality of all these concepts. Whilst the facilitated workshops, supported by customised props, keynote slides, facilitation resources & student student activities, uniforms and various tech's such as the mBot, Bee-Bot and iPad, was all designed to educated, innovate, create play and build skills for students to understand digital technologies and how they're programmed and operate. The goal with design was to create an innovative, fun and playful program which excites and stimulates play at the same time providing educational benefits to young New Zealanders.
