Composite Photoshop Work, Raining Cats and Dogs
Inspired by the heavy rain fall in Tennessee, this composite image was designed using:
Dog and cat image vectors
Background layers
Recoloring effects
All to create the illusion of extreme storming.
Struggles with the project involved:
Issues with capturing dogs' fur
Making color effects balanced even with the chaotic theme
Redirecting angles of the animal vectors to appear as though falling rather than jumping
Meme Animation Project, The Awkward Moment
Inspired by the classic LOL Cat memes, I put a slightly new spin on it to fit with the Digital Media themes.
Struggles with the project involved:
Initial confusions with interface setup
Alignment issues
Creating the illusion of both individual letters and full words moving separately
Video Animation, Pong Game
Created for the sake of transitioning from moving images (GIFs) to a video format, I created a new take on the original Pong video game
Elements of the game included:
Disappearing ball
Japanese anime reference (Nani!?)
Moving "WINNER" ending text
Firework ending
Struggles with project involved:
Initial incorrect movement creation (lack of keyframes)
Issues maintaining local positions of elements to prevent uneven movements
Issues maintaining animation keyframe speeds to prevent unbalanced movements between keyframes
Brand Promo Video, Dogwood Dreamer
In order to accomplish a project utilizing photos, videos, narration, and music audio, the classic Windows Movie Maker software was used.
Created to showcase my brand's story and inspiration, I used:
Elements that captured my brands themes (corresponding stock images, videos, music, and narration)
Some samples of previous projects created for the brand (personal collection photos)
Struggles with project involved:
Editing narration audio quality
Matching music/narration with appropriate media cues and speeds
Finding appropriate media choices
Finding thematically appropriate transitions and effects
