Soul Train- re-branding
Soul train is a 70's music T.V show, the project was to create a new record combining the spirit of the show with a more modern design.
My concept was using 70's patterns and insert old frames from the show to keep the design authentic and connected to the series.
The logo:
on the left side there is the old logo of the show and on the right there is the new one I created. the purpose was to keep the logo recognizable so I've choose to use the same font and composition as the old logo.
In order to keep it modern I deleted the gradient, stroke and shadow.
The last thing was making the O into a loop connecting the S and the U, I did that to keep the train motive.
