“On several times in our lives, we all experience difficulties in the spaces we live or the products we use. These difficulties stem from maladjustment situations in the middle features built to face our needs. 
 
Designers and architects are used to design for a mythical man who is young, healthy, of average height, who can always understand how the new products work, does not get tired, that does not make mistakes… but in fact, does not actually exists.” (Jorge Simões Falcato and Renato Bispo, 2006) 
 
 
In this context, the project under consists on the development of a line of accessories for cutlery, directed to all kinds of people. This work presents a concept for the proposed accessories and a proposal that seeks to answer to the user requirements. It is intended to offer consumers a different experience that makes them feel better both in terms of their needs and the level of todays trends. Therefore, there are a lot of concerns regarding durability, ease of maintenance, adaptability to various types of users and to the various physical constrains of the consumers.  The concept built around this proposal arise naturally and aims to be observed in the middle of a saturated market. Additionally, it wants to grant freedom in the form of accessories, allowing the construction of a family which aims to reflect the same identity in continuous evolution. 
Leaf is a product that has emerged from the need to facilitate and increase the autonomy of people with motor disabilities, permanent or temporary. It aims to make these people independent, enhancing their well-being and those around them.

In this way, Leaf is a product for all, that adapts to the physiognomy of any user, is included in the group of products of Inclusive Design and, as the own name indicates, aims to contribute to the "non-discrimination and social inclusion of all." (Jorge Falcato Simões and Renato Bispo, 2006).

In order to reach all the intended audience, the tableware accessories are subdivided according to the different types of users. The goal is for each user to find the accessory that suits him or herself.

The fact that this collection of table accessories contains several strands allows you to create a kind of trend / fashion and catch the attention of the consumer through various unlimited / limited collections. In this way, the consumer will create a growing interest around these accessories, resulting in a fashion in which everyone will join.
