This is the journey of Marching Ants, a coffee roaster from Surabaya, Indonesia, whose trying to embolden people's morning with their roasted coffee bean products. We tried to give a new perspective on the packaging, by redesigning their product label which illustrates each type differently and unique in their own ways. During the research, we found that roasted coffee beans still rarely use character design on their packaging. From what we found before, we decided to give a fresh and different look by applying character drawing to their package, without leaving our main concept,
"to illustrate the Marching Ants uniquely".
Each variant has a different sketch. The purpose of this is we tried to represent the spesific location where the bean originates. By drawing the scenery of the region, we also try to educate consumers that by consuming Marching Ants, also impacting the people around the beans production in the positive way.
We do research to provide you with interesting facts about the roasted beans that Marching Ants made. Such as historical fact about the region, and also the characteristic of each the beans, so consumers also get better value when consuming Marching Ants.
