My journey from home to school
For a student project, we were instructed to design something that would communicate our journey from home to school. Beginning at my apartment in Foggy Bottom, DC I would walk/bus/bike my way up through Georgetown to the Corcoran's 2nd campus. The sounds, colors, and textures on my journey were the most important aspects of the trip and I wanted to communicate them in such a way that would allow my audience to "feel" like they went on the exact same journey. Below is my "ONE WAY" journey book made from recycled materials. On the left of each page is a screen printed line of an original sonnet, written by myself, to further immerse the audience into this journey.
