Кафе находится в здании старой мельницы в центре Таллина. Владелец кафе хотел интерьер в котором люди могли бы работать, выпить кофе, а вечером — посидеть в уютном баре. Хотелось подчеркнуть историю помещения. Например, часть освещения крепится к бункерам для хранения зерна. А бетонные столики напоминают жернова. Крючки для сумок на барной стойке сделаны из запчастей для дробилки зерна. Простое утилитарное освещение напоминает о производственном назначении здания. В целом меня вдохновляет первичное назначение помещения, брутальные конструкции и полуразрушенные стены. Все это оживляют картины, растения, запах кофе, теплый свет и хорошая музыка.

The cafe is located in the building of an old mill in the center of Tallinn. The owner of the cafe wanted an interior in which people could work, drink coffee, and in the evening -  hang out in cozy bar. I wanted to emphasize the history of the space. For example, part of the lighting is fastened to grain storage bins. And the concrete tables look like a millstone. Hooks for bags on the bar stand are made of spare parts for the grain crusher. Simple utilitarian lighting bring back the production purpose of the building. In general, I am inspired by the primary purpose of the premises, brutal structures and dilapidated walls. This atmosphere is animated by paintings, plants, the smell of coffee, warm light and nice music.
