The design challenge for the new generation of OVERVOLT AM i was to design an agile 140/160mm eMTB platform while using an integrated 500W/h battery.
To do so it has been designed with a compact 4-bar linkage, with an ultra low shock position. The Shimano STEP E8000 is a compact platform that contributed to design a more modern e-bike geometry, combining stability and manoeuvrability.
The unique flexible side release battery allowed us to design a more sloping front triangle, to increase the bike handling while cornering.
