CARE for Sandy was set up to provide free photo restorations to all those effected by October 2012's devastating hurricane. I was happy to help a family hold on to piece of the past and all the memories that go along with it.
The band? Hot Tuna!
The Memories
In the family's words: "When we were kids me and my best friend (a good friend of Jorma's and one of his first students) used to sneak out of our houses to go see the midnight Hot Tuna shows that used to end at 5:30 in the morning. I would tell my mother that I was sleeping over at his house and he would tell his mother that he was sleeping over at my house. Then we would put pillows under the covers to make it look like bodies, and away we went. Tell Jorma that ----- says hello."
