MGI, visual identity

"Moscow through the engineer's eyes" is a comprehensive product for children and adults, including city tours, lecture courses, kids workshops, which show our capital from new engineering point of view. The brand needs an individual corporate identity, which should reflect the engineering focus of activities.
Thanks to engineering tours, anyone can see the architecture, as it is seen
by professionals in engineering programs for design and drawing, such as АutoCAD.
Roboto Mono is chosen as the corporate font. Monospaced fonts are applied in the design program interfaces.The visual language based on a modular system of geometric shapes, which denote various engineering elements: trusses, arches, supports. Based on the design idea, the structures are disassembled in layers, as in AutoCAD, herewith each layer has its own colour.


When we talk about a particular object, the graphics displays the engineering and architectural features of the object. For the invention of Vladimir Shukhov, these are elements of overlaps and mesh shells. For modernism — repetition of modular elements.


The advantage of this graphics system is the ability to tell from an engineering point
of view about the objects, that belong to different architectural fields, be it art Nouveau, constructivism or modern architecture. At the same time there is no stylization for different architectural directions.
