Robert Thorne’s Fat Face family, designed for quick and cheap printing of advertisements,
was a sore sight for his contemporaries but a huge hit with advertisers.

 

This poster / booklet contains a short essay on Thorne’s work and legacy, it is an exploration into
 the present equivalents of the production techniques of the XIX Century.
