Growing up in Gonaives,Haiti was really good. It wasn't the best place because no where in the world is the best. However, because it is located in a country that has always being the subject of all kind of bad stigmas from foreign country along with political unrest that, the city of Gonaives affected by that strongly.
But, growing up in the city has always been one of the best. There, there seems to be truly what it's called " a multy cultures". Although Haiti is 99 percent same nationalities, but people there seem to be living freely enough to do just about what they feel, such as listen to any music they want to, go to any places they want to, if they can, dress how they please, go to any church they wish and live accordingly through their own beliefs or faith.
That's the City in Haiti I come from.
