Ashley Page's is a darker version of this normally sugar-coated ballet, with a strong sense of surreal. Monty Python-esque sets combine with fantastical characters to create a Nutcracker like no other.
I tried to inject a bit of the Terry Gilliam feel into the look of this programme, creating a different collage based layout for each spread. I chose to use Cyclus Offset Recycled which gave the programme a beautiful off-white grainy texture – a storybook feel. To further enhance the special feel of this souvenir Christmas programme the cover features a silver foil title treatment.
