‘HERÓIS DO MAR’
Nos 600 anos dos Descobrimentos, foram dados a conhecer os caminhos descobertos pelos portugueses que, em 1415, se viraram para o mar e conquistaram a cidade de Ceuta. Nos séculos XV e XVI os navegadores portugueses empreenderam rotas, conquistas e descobertas.
O poster gigante ‘Heróis do Mar’ apresenta os feitos dos principais navegadores portugueses e tipologias de embarcações, o papel dos reis e a evolução da bandeira portuguesa no período dos Descobrimentos e a ilustração da vida a bordo da nau S. Gabriel.

'HEROES OF THE SEA’
In the 600 years of the Discoveries, the Portuguese discovered the paths that, in 1415, turned to the sea and conquered the city of Ceuta. In the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries the Portuguese navigators embarked on routes, conquests and discoveries.
The giant poster ‘Heróis do Mar' presents the achievements of the main Portuguese navigators and typologies of vessels, the role of the kings and the evolution of the Portuguese flag in the period of the Discoveries and the illustration of life aboard the S. Gabriel ship.
