The Svizzera Chair is a design inspired by Lugano, Switzerland, where I lived for a year.
The bold, curved and rounded shapes embody the economic wealth and prosperity of the nation.
The four components of the design represent the four different languages that are spoken in this amazing country. The different tongues do not separate the people because they are unified by an independent government, which in the Svizzera chair, this is translated in the same way as the stable stainless steel frame that holds the components together so strongly yet so fluently.
