---The Exhibition---
The Israeli pavilion at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale, titled Aircraft Carrier, deals with the dramatic changes in Israeli architecture since 1973, and the American influences that made them possible.
By mixing archival materials with commissioned art work and custom made products the exhibition aims at demonstrating how the dramatic shift of Israel from socialist welfare state into a capitalist booming market is expressed and enabled by Israeli architecture.
---The Work---
According to the main issue of the exhibition, It felt that the identity should backup the idea of Israel being overwelmed by American Glam and to give the feeling of something very desireble that makes her want more and more of it... Thats why the Gold color was picked to lead the whole look and feel - this shiny desireble feeling adding to it a touch of elegant exlusivity but not too fency served us very well in this project.
The work contains:
logo, an outdoor sign, a 170 pages book published by HATJE CANTS, a 32 pages catalog, a nylon bag,
a nylon package design, stickers and typography spreads in the pavilon space.
