World Cup Remastered

With "World Cup Remastered" we focus on recreating historical moments from both the past and present World Cups.

Although these moments and photos are dear to many, we wanted to build on them and also bring in new elements, like background details you would not see in the actual photo. Mixing this with vibrant colors and a modern style, we urged to give these moments new life as complete illustrations.

The good vibe feeling of the World Cup was important for us to build into all these landscape designs.

Brazil won its third World Cup in the Mexico 1970 Final. Brazil fielded what has since been considered as the greatest team ever, led by stars Pele and Jairzinho.

The infamous moment in 1982 World Cup. Diego Maradona surrounded against the Belgium team.

NED - ARG 98: The Goal that shook the world by Dennis Bergkamp.

Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materazzi. Like a lightning bolt strikes, it was a headbutt no soccer fan will forget. 2006 final, France vs Italy - where italy wound up winning the match in penalty kicks.

SPA - NED 2010: La Furia Roja and Iniesta winning The World Cup in South Africa.

Iceland 2018 - First ever World Cup against Argentina, celebrating with "The Viking Clap".

CAM - COL 90: Dance like Roger Milla. Cameroon won 2–1, thus becoming the first African team to win a World Cup knockout match.

NOR - BRA 98: Viva La Norvège. Kjetil Rekdal scores the winning goal in over time against Brazil i 1998. The greatest game in Norwegian history.

SWE - BUL 94: Tomas Brolin and Henrik Larsson were involved in the victory against Bulgaria, as Sweden secured bronze medal in The World Cup 1994 in the United States.
