Forging Connections is my Thesis project for the Post Graduate Landscape Diploma and intends to pave the way for providing a stimulating, safe environment for those effected by dementia, whether it be as a sufferer, carer, family or community via funding provided as part of the UK government’s Challenge Dementia 2020 Plan.

It will focus on non-drug interventions that can help to alleviate symptoms of the disease, exploring ways whereby wellbeing and a high quality of life are at the heart of the design.  Forging Connections will reduce the current stigma surrounding the disease and re-educate the public.
