I did volunteer work with Distinguished Young Women Colorado, formerly America’s Junior Miss, working on banners, tickets, paid ads, and programs. I also photographed the contestants during the event. Distinguished Young Women was founded in 1958 as a way to reward the accomplishments of high school senior girls seeking to pursue higher education.
