My first project for the Brangian Cultural Center in Las Cruces, NM. I created these stamps for the local portion of a Smithosonian travel exhibit: Journey Stories, about the different ways people came to America and established our country.

 

Each museum was required to add a local exhibit to accompany the main exhibit and I was given the task of coming up with a way to display the information.

 

I came up with the idea of making historical-looking stamps that would hold the image, and then a smaller postcard piece that contained accompanying text.

 

It was a great honor for me, to be given such a huge task right at the start of my internship with them and the exhibit was a big success.
