Hull College Rebrand

HULL COLLEGE RE-BRAND - 2nd Place

The marque is based upon a simple, geometric ‘H’ with rounded corners to evoke a friendly feeling. The negative space between the stems of the ‘H’ is the area of land between the college’s three campuses.

The colour was chosen to stand out from all other surrounding competition. Amber/Gold is very rarely seen in education, and was the only colour-range not already in use in the existing logo.

The typography is a simple geometric sans set in lower-case. This enables the personality of the logo to come from the marque and colour.

The shapes that make up the marque can be used as graphic devices in further publications and online.
