Banto is my interpretation of a spiky wedge serif typeface originally inspired by old whiskey and gin labels. The sharp serifs combined with squarish curves give Banto a bucketload of attitude, without sacrificing functionality. The range of styles makes Banto usable for both running text and display typography.

Banto currently has twelve styles from Extralight to Extrabold including italics. The upright styles have latin language support and a full set of punctuation and most symbols, apart from the more obscure ones.
