Gustavo Dudamel dirigió el concierto titulado "Encuentros, México y las Américas Unidas a través de la Música", en el Salón Principal del Palacio de Bellas Artes, que tuvo lugar durante la visita de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Viena y el director de orquesta venezolano a ese país. Estuvo acompañado por niños y jóvenes representantes de los grupos musicales comunitarios que forman parte de El Sistema; niños de Argentina, Canadá, Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico, República Dominicana y Venezuela, apoyados por la Fundación Gustavo Dudamel; así como el Coro de Orquesta y Música Tradicional Mexicana, formado por un acuerdo entre los Secretarios de Cultura y Educación Pública a través del programa Cultura en su Escuela.
Gustavo Dudamel conducted the concert entitled "Encounters, México & the Américas United through Music", in the Main Hall of the Palacio of Bellas Artes, that took place during the visit of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Venezuelan conductor to that country. He was accompanied by children and youth representatives of the community musical groups that are part of El Sistema; children from Argentina, Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, supported by the Gustavo Dudamel Foundation; as well as the Orchestra and Traditional Mexican Music Choir, formed by an agreement between the Secretaries of Culture and Public Education through the Culture in your School program.
