Invite Personal Project for my Dads 65th Birthday invite
My Dad had his 65th birthday yesterday, he's an antique dealer and loves telescopes, microscopes and all sorts of scientific instruments. So for his birthday invite I thought I would use and image of a 18th century reflecting telescope. To be honest the project was a little rushed, so I am not overly satisfied with the lettering. But i was pleased all the same. so was Dad!
Process: drew from photograph, scanned image, re-traced in illustrator and threw in a few gritty vectors.
Printed it on some matt photo paper. job done.
