MANUAL ANIMAL

MANUAL ANIMAL

A workshop that focused on manually produced artwork, which took place in Makan, Amman. The participants were requested to choose their own mediums and projects, be it graffiti, animation, posters… anything as long as it did not involve a computer. The concept was left up to the participants, allowing them to provide their own issues and to come up with their own visual interpretations.
The workshop was conducted by Micheal Schinkothe and lasted 4 days, and culminated in an exhibition for the participants’ projects which covered a variety of media and forms, from installation to silkscreen, watercolors, projections, and metal wires, to name a few. The opening also featured a music session Tareq Abu Rahmeh and Lilabungalow.
