The Portrait Project takes an image of a character, in this case, Daniel Craig's rendition of 007 spy, James Bond and replaces the original image with traces of shapes that are filled in to recreate the original image in a different style all while keeping the same tone as the normal image. As I was creating the portrait, I really got comfortable with using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator as well as recreating facial features by using lines for extra detail in keeping the same ideal look as the original character in the first image.
