My experiment with minimalist design to depict the apparent 'yin and yang' functional duality of bacterial toxin-antitoxin systems. The rounded rectangle housing the yin-yang symbol represents the balance between the antitoxin (cross) and toxin (biohazard symbol) within the bacterium.
