Bukit lawang is a natural tourist spot located in the bohorok North sumatra located so far 68 kilometres northwest of binjai and 80 kilometres west of the city of medan, bukit lawang bohorok itself included in the area of Mountain National Park Leuser and also including the orangutan reservation in protect.

Orang utan residing here belongs to the type of the Sumatran orangutan Pongo Abelli by another name which is one of the two types of orangutans in indonesia that you can only find in Northern sumatra.
