This series of posters was created as part of a course focused on artists working in Paris in the 1920's, and the impact they had on the artistic revolution that occurred during that time. As part of the course we were required to select and artist and study their life and work and also complete a creative project based on our research. I selected Luis Buñuel as his work was highly influential both in Europe and America, but especially Mexico (my country of origin). To this day, several of his films are considered some of the most important examples of Mexican cinema. These posters are a tribute to his early work completed in France and Spain in the late 1920's and early 1930's.
