A poster is powerful weapon of visual communication. Using a minimum of visual characters and maximum expressivness, poster acts like a shot that hits ammediately.
Sometimes poster communicates without words, using the language of visual images and symbols only.
A poster is like a teaser for film. For a couple of minutes, consciousness is provoked by the desire to see the whole story, visiting a full movie show. In case of a poster, the first impression, the first visual "clue" makes you think and comprehend the information that it carries in its entirety.
