VIII 70 - "Os Lusíadas"
Last year, i was very pleased to be invited by Circus to join in their exhibition "Unleash the Hero Within" based in the epic portuguese odissey "Os Lusíadas" by the poet Luís Vaz de Camões. Circus has selected the strophes (verses) for each illustrator that should be illustrated in craft paper.
Mine was the VIII 70 and is about be hunger for knowledge, desire the unknown without fear and not giving up through storms and unknown seas to get to the other side.
The illustration is 50X70 cm.

Each illustration was exhibited for a short time in different spaces in Porto, galleries, clubs, shops, very cool places. Some more trendy and some more typical around the city. My place was A Vindimeira | Vintager’s wine house – which is also a portuguese delicatessen, wine cellar, gourmet café… and much more.
Now they're all in exhibition on Plan B, a gallery/nightclub in the city center.
