I based my radio concept from water faucet and its genuine gestures. Water faucet is somewhat similar to radio metaphorically. Water faucet and pipe is the mean which water is transferred and provided to everyone. The pipes are usually underground and hidden in walls thus we can only see the faucet. Likewise, radio does this to us as well: it acts as a medium for transferring an essential yet, invisible (wave) entity into a lively sound that fills our room. I decided to try imitate the mechanism and the overall feel of the single lever faucet and the gesture conveyed from using it. This allowed me to use a single controller to control two variables by turning.
