Molecule to Patient

At Genentech's headquarters, several building lobbies house a display that the company's U.S. Commercial division uses to share important stories with employees and visitors. For this one, they wanted to explain Genentech's overall mission and the general process of initial concept to medications reaching patients. At the outset, I was given the opportunity to explore various solutions with just two parameters: prominently use the division's colors of blue and green and convey the content in a timeline style. While the content changed numerous times throughout the process, I worked closely with an internal communications team and the client to strategize on the most effective way to present it and how much would be appropriate for a display of this size. As the content changed, the design evolved as well. The final piece resulted in an exhibit that successfully conveyed the story in an engaging way, while staying aligned with brand standards and true to the client's personality.
