4 Season (CD Cover Design)
It designed for the CD set of SodaGreen. 4 season included four CD (Spring, Summer , Fall and Winter). Wabi Sabi is the main style in this design.
Concept
The song is about life. Four season represent children, teenagers, middle aged and elderly respectively. But also talk about life are an endless story so I use a circle as a symbol to shows that reincarnation.
Aesthetics
It is a simple design and the colour tone that I have used are mostly earth tone colour to match with the wabi sabi style. The background that I have used are original material feeling and this is also one of the characteristics of wabi sabi.
Semiotics
Index: Texture of linen shows Buddhism and colour shows the four season and also simile that people in different aged.
Symbol: Cycle stand for reincarnation and metaphor people’s life.
