Designer Accordion Book Project
James Victore, a designer who embodies the emboldened qualities of a hands on, do it yourself kind of artist. He believes in hard work, and raw uncensored imagery, and makes this extremely prevalent in his work. This accordion style book shows off his early life and career as well as his accomplishments throughout his career from the last twenty years.

Book design by Brandon Rivera. Created at the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. Composed in Helvetica designed by Max Miedinger.

Context
This project was completed within a four week period. The beginning week focused on composing ideas and concepts on paper, while researching the designer.

Information on James Victore and his early career lead up came from his first publication Victore or, Who Died and Made You Boss? Supplementary information sourced from Debbie Millman's interview with Victore in How To Think Like a Graphic Designer. Points and assertions by the artist are found in his manifesto written on Printmag.com entitled Dangerous Ideas on Education, A Manifesto.
