These 2 illustrations are part of a diptych I did for an exhibition about Synesthesia, aka the alliance of 2 senses. 
Here, the idea was to illustrate a scent and tie it to a visual memory. I went for a classic alliance, cigarette & perfume and dig in some memories that I tweaked a bit to illustrate it all.
The character are all the same couple, I just blended time all together = )
