The Peachtree, Georgia-based FC&A Publishing delivers information about a broad range of topics, but focuses primarily on publishing self-help and nonfiction publications. Beyond its everyday operations, FC&A Publishing supports multiple community organizations and donates used and returned out-of-print books to Operation Mobilization (OM) ships.
OM delivers the Gospel of Jesus Christ to communities across the world through a dedicated team of volunteers and staff members who serve a family of ministries located in 118 nations. United by a love for Jesus Christ, staff and volunteers embark on missions that take them to remote areas of the globe and engage in an array of activities that benefit the communities they visit. The activities range from bible study sessions and creative arts projects to relief and development work.
OM ships enable the organization to share the gospel through literature and other media outlets. The organization possesses a long history of distributing literature that dates back to the ship’s maiden voyage in 1971. Those visiting the ship can enjoy live performances and select books from its book fair, which contains over 5,000 unique titles. In addition to Christian resources, the book fair features biographies, dictionaries, children’s stories, atlases, and texts on a number of other topics.
