HULL ECHO NEWSPAPER 2nd Place
Submission for a new newspaper for Kingston Upon Hull.
This newspaper is a mini paper which is halfway in size between A4 and A5 making it concise and easily transportable.
The design of the newspaper utilises many different artistic styles including photo-manipulation, watercolour, digital art and colour blocking. This gives the paper a more contemporary and fresh aesthetic.
The articles within are succinct which matches the writing style of the editor and gives the pages space helping to give the paper a more modern feel.
The cover imagery is designed by a local artist every issue, and the newspaper dedicates the centrefold to that artist as a means of advertising.
