Wattle and daub is a method of constructing walls in which vertical wooden stakes are woven with horizontal bamboo strips and then the structure is daubed with a mixture of clay and cow dung. This method is one of the oldest known for making weatherproof buildings.
In order to promote this technique, I made 10 pieces of wattle and daub frames, arranged those in an appealing composition and hung it at the entrance of my college. Frames are not fully covered with clay to show the beautifully weaved structures.
