American Express - serve for Spring Studio
Spring Studio is a user experience (UX) and design firm.

UX design, UI design, Art Direction, Strategy, Research, Copywriting, Marketing, Social Media

Brainstorming and developing new business and user experience concepts for web, mobile and point of sale bringing in social media touch-points to all the channels. All the while keeping the entire experience fluid and inline with brand standards. Research in the financial space played a huge role in creation of these pieces. I did high fidelity design on a few pieces but since I had design support handed off medium fidelity work to another fantastic designer for help. Spending more time on strategy, research and UX / UI with the team lead as my partner was a better use of my time based on our resources. Working in a space that combines UX, visual design and copywriting in the same documents is a common way I work. Spring Studio uses this work when they pitch new clients. This is quite a large body of work with many more samples to share.

"We brought Marsha into SpringStudio to help us brainstorm and develop new business and user experience concepts for our Fortune 100 financial client. Her understanding of the wide swath a large company cuts through the digital aether led to concepts that held up well on the web, on mobile devices and at the point of sale, and she was instrumental in bringing social media touch-points to all the channels. Marsha can pull functionality out of the cloud, combine it with intuitive interfaces and shoehorn it into brand standards like a champ, and she literally bends over backwards to make it happen."

Peter:
Father of 2, Tommy (13) and Jane (22)
He likes to use Serve to give Tom his allowance and to help Jane with some of her recurring expenses. Serve is convenient, and gives him some control over and knowledge about how his kids are using the money he provides. It also allows him to see the balance on his sons account which is a sub-account to his.
He initially opened a Serve account in order to send his kids money, but he became intrigued by its money management features as well. He attached his bank accounts, credit cards and airline miles accounts to his Serve account so that he could always see all of their balances in 1 place. He can also keep track of unused gift cards he has been given with the option to Serve them to Plastic Jungle.
As an added benefit, whenever he logs in he also sees an overview of his spending by category or merchant. Jane told him about the Serve bill pay widget and he is thinking of trying it out.
Peter was pleased to see last time he logged in that he could get a significant discount from the Marriott in Vail if he pays via Serve. This is especially timely as he just booked his flights for a family trip to Vail and was getting ready to research hotels.
Peter is excited to begin exploring Serves other features.

Jane:
Jane is 22. She recently graduated college and has her first full-time job as a booking agent at Virgin Airlines. She gets airline miles as a bonus for doing a good job. Since her dad travels a lot for fun she Serves her dad points to travel with.
Jane lives with her friend Anne in a 2-bedroom apartment.
They share the rent and all of the utility bills. Anne uses her parents credit card to pay the utilities and Jane Serves Anne 50% of the money.
Jane often eats out with friends and Serve is an easy way for her to pay her portion of the bill. Since she checks in places with four square and has linked Serve to her four square account her favorite local restaurant can give her discount offers easily.
Jane has input her bank account as well as her iTunes and netflix accounts. She also uses the Serve bill pay widget to schedule payments and never miss recurring expenses like her cell phone bill.
Jane loves to play Cityville on Facebook and uses serve to trade items in the game with other players. Her dad got some Cityville cash once as an incentive and he Served those to Jane via a Facebook post as a thank you for the miles she gave him.

Tommy:
Tommy is 13.  His parents give him a $25/week allowance via Serve. His Serve account is a sub-account to he Father's. He just bought a new xbox game controller from Amazon (on his dads account) with money he made from selling an armor he earned in WOW. He put an ad up to sell his armor in his serve account and got 3 offers. He's always on Facebook too and loves to play Farmville. He buys lots of music from iTunes. Peter has given Tommy the ability to spend only 1/2 of his allowance on games or music but if Tommy earns any money himself he is free to spend it as he likes.
Educational game for tommy about spending and saving money? Can accrue interest some how. Dad can offer interest on kids savings to incentivise kids to save?
Peter has given him permission to use his Amazon account.
