In the business of property taxes, there's one tricky little bill that our office, the San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector, gets a lot of calls about: the supplemental tax bill. Each time we send one out, it creates a lot of questions from taxpayers wondering what they just received. 

To solve this problem, we created a video that, in four minutes, answers the most frequently asked questions we get about these bills. This is a complicated, dry subject, so our graphic designer turned to animation using Adobe AfterEffects and Premiere Pro to present the information in an easily digestible, friendly way.

Our office has embarked on an "e-nitiative" to move much of our business online, whether that be through e-payments, email reminders, or online forms. This video aligns with our strategy by providing an easy-to-understand and shareable resource to customers on our website. We are monitoring call volume regarding supplemental tax bills, and we are hopeful that our video reduces that volume.
