Colors are inspired by many elements of Mexican culture. This particular line pattern comes from a traditional Mexican blanket.

On the right side of the spread, the layout is inspired by a Mexican game called Loteria. It is very similar to bingo. To the left of the spread, there is a quick description of one of my favorite Mexican dishes.

I choose to illustrate all ingredients and Mexican dishes instead of photography because I wanted to give a more personal touch to my work and I enjoy doing illustrated design work.

Recipes come from my mother and grandmother family recipes. They are passed down through each generation.
