I designed a logo for the amateur hockey team that I play for in my spare time. The team is called HC Rautakanki. Rautakanki means wrecking bar in english.

 

For the love of whisky I created some visual designs for an imaginery whisky distillery in Turku region, Southwest Finland. The distillery would be called Varsinais-Suomen Tislaamo (Southwest Finland Distillery). Range of whiskies would include four different single malts. One peated, one cask strength and two regular whiskies (the other one probably a blended version of the three...)

Inspiration for the distillery's products comes from nature. I created four different fantasy whisky types based on the regional animal, fish, rock and bird.

 

Animal: FOX             Fish: BALTIC HERRING             Rock: RED GRANITE                  Bird: JACKDAW

FOXKY is a peated single malt whisky. The actual whisky would be inspired by the Islay region whiskies from Scotland. FOXKY is an intense, smoky-sweet single malt with seaweed flavours, aged in oak casks.

NASTY HERRING is a salty single malt whisky. This whisky get's its inspiration on tasting notes from whiskies that have saltiness in them. Such as Old Pulteney 12 yrs & Clynelish 14 yrs.  NASTY HERRING is faintly dry, fruity and smooth with a lasting salty finish. 

SICK GRANITE is a cask strength single malt whisky. It is a full bodied whisky, rich with a thick and faintly oily texture. It has a long, sweet and very rich finish with a hint of smoke.

DRUNKEN JACKDAW is a fruity single malt whisky. It could also be a blended version of the first three.

I've also designed logos for our small whisky tasting society in the Turku region. The simple task was to blend in the credentials UBS with the figure of a nosing glass. My four suggestions can be found below. I added the illusion of aroma evaporating from the glass on 3 of 'em.
