We were tasked with creating a cardboard VR head set for REI as our first project for 2nd year . The head set was designed to reflect REI'S brand and to incorporate their styling elements.
You would use your phone as the display screen for the VR effect. The is space for the user to access the side buttons of the phone and there is space for the headphone jack.
The cardboard was sealed with clear spray paint and the decals were stuck on . If produced the cardboard would be sealed with wax to improve life span and prevent stains on card and the graphics would be printed on the card. I had to sow on one of the piece which just wouldn't stick.
